We stand for surfing. Chinese police against shenzhen surfer

Yesterday morning at Xichong Beach, in Shenzhen, police brutally blocked one local surfer still for unknown reason and cut his surfboard. Evident is the unfair and violent behaviour of the local guards.

Kelly Slater comments “what’s going on here? this is bizarre. Besides that it’s a clear destruction of property worth a good amount of money”

Technically surfing is not illegal in China, but there is a lot of confusion about it. Swimmers, surfers, tourists just mix up in the water and really often problems happen. We hope the situation will be soon resolved.

We will try to check the evolution of this situation and repost soon news about it.
